I've heard nice recommendations about Thermalright's, but not much recommendations about Thermaltake's air coolers.

apologies. can never remeber if its thermalright or thermaltake tongue.gif

i had the thermalright true 120 for a while and got my i7 920 to 4.2ghz on it. i liked it a lot. it was the last cooler i had before i went to water cooling!

also the Corsair A50 is a great heatsink, i dont think they make them anymore, too bad. i thought they were awesome, and when they were on sale they beat the hyper 212 for price to performance ratio. A70 even better still!

I've never tried myself the Corsair's A50 and the A70, but I've heard nice recommendations about them.

My only cons are the stock fans.
They are 3-pin fans with 2 selectable speeds 1600 rpm and 2000 rpm.
Fans at these speeds aren't quiet to everyone, specially when the processor isn't under load all the time.

In my opinion Corsair should include PWM or better fans to these heatsinks. thumb.gif
