The G36C spec-ops unlock is great, IMO, especially compared to the SCAR-L (second spec-ops unlock). For me at least, it's more useful and accurate... but it's all semantics, really. Some people like it; some people don't.

Absolutely, the G36-E, aka "Medic Whore" gun is completely awesome! The three-round burst mode is often very quickly deadly for your opponents!

To tell you the truth I'm not a big fan of ANY of the Spec Ops guns...

Ehh, to each their own. Although, given the ability to pick, I usually grab the G36C.

All-around, the G36 Family is a great group of guns, IMHO.

Hey, not to steal this thread, but how long does it take to unlock anything?! I just got the game a week ago and I've been playing a bunch, I think I have like 3 or 4 medals or something. I mainly play with the spec-ops and sniper

You will get an unlock at your second promotion, I belive. (Maybe first, too, I can't remember. It's been a while.)

To see how close you are to a promotion, you can go to www.BF2S.com and plug in your username. It gives you tons of usefull info and stats about you playing, and the game in general.

BF2S.com is your friend mate!
http://ubar.bf2s.com/ranks.php <-- This page will explain everything.

And if you decide you really like the website, try this FireFox extension -- the BF2S.com Toolbar Menu -- created by me, actually...

[I hope it's okay to promote it, given that I whipped it up for the BF2S.com community.]
