Hi,

Im going to put together my first computer and I was wondering if this
is a good build

Asus P5NSLI Socket 775 / Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 OEM / 2GB DDR2 PC4200 / CPU Fan / ATX Mid-Tower Case / 500 Watt Power Supply / EVGA GeForce 7950 GT KO SuperClocked

Ive always used AMD and I don't know about the Intel Core 2 Duo E6600
and Ive never had a dual-core before..

My current rig Is Athlon 3400+, 767DDR Ram,430 Watt power supply, and 7600GT

Moved your post to Intel General, and changed the title a bit, should get more attention this way!

That's a great CPU, now the problem will be the motherboard and "we" think the best MoBo for that CPU is the P5B Deluxe.

For RAM, go with PC2 5400 at least, that way you'll have some nice headroom to overclock and the E6600 can easily do 3.0ghz w/o excessive tweaking.

But the MoBo and that RAM speed I don't think so!.

Eh, I know nothing about overclocking, nor PC2 5400 Ram
