Check that both mic inputs have the same settings to see if that fixes it (you might have to plug the mic in to see the settings) smile.gif
I had a separate thread on this a while back, i was able to narrow it down to the front panel being to problem, not it works fine when its plugged in the back...¨

Btw scrap the idea of new speakers and plug them to my car amp. It operates on 14.4V and all i could find in this country is 12v transformers i can't blast my subwoofer all the way so i dont think putting the two speakers in would be a good idea...

Get 2.0 active speaker set, plug them into soundcard, plug the car amp into soundcard => 2.1 set. Some guys already linked nice 2.0 active speaker sets smile.gif

Which headset do you have? I myself own Steelseries Siberia V2 with an USB soundcard and whenever I want to use them I switch to the USB soundcard. When I don't need a mic I switch to Sennheiser HD558 + DAC set (DAC is basically just an external soundcard, connects with a USB or optical) and it's really easy to switch between these.

As far as I know you can't switch between inputs on one soundcard but you can switch between soundcards altogether. It's a mess but it works.

And no problem, I'm always happy to help other Finnish guys tongue.gif

I have the creative fatal1ty 3.5mm jacks (oldschool!)
so could i maybe run the speakers from onboard and headset on another soundcard? Also could the soundcard fix my issue with the front panel?

Maybe use y-slip to connect 2.1s into same output as my headset and just turn the speakers off? biggrin.gif

For 2.1 you need two 3.5mm plugs so I think that wouldn't work, but there isn't anything stopping you from trying different setups smile.gif
