I would like to get advice if the above configuration is good together, or there is something conflicting in it.

Mortherboard : Asus P8Z77-V Deluxe
CPU : Intel Core i7-3770K
RAM : Corsair Vengeance CL10 PC3-12800 16GB (1600MHz, 2x 8GB)
GPU : ASUS Nvidia GeForce GTX660-DC2O-2GD5
PSU : GigaByte Superb E620W 80 Plus
Cooler : NOCTUA CPU-Kuehler NH-U9B SE2 f LGA1156
House : Aerocool X-Warrior

Thanks for your help in advance smile.gif

i would drop the i7 down to an i5, and get a better card like a Radeon HD 7950 or a GTX 660ti, and also get a better power supply like a Rosewill Hive, or Corsair HX series.

Umm... Why would you spend so much on a motherboard and skimp on the gpu? There is a point when spending that much on a motherboard is just too much.

That 660 wont get you very far. I would bring the motherboard down to a p8z77-v pro (still a very good motherboard) and upgrade your gpu to a 660 ti or even a 670 if you can afford it; you'll just get a better, more rounded experience.

This, of course, depends on what you are going to be doing with this rig.

From the Corsair HX series how much Watt would it require ? About the graphic cards : I am not using it for gaming, mostly working, compiling but active use daily 18 hours.

OK, in that case, you don't really need a graphics card bump, but I still would suggest dropping to the PRO and saving yourself some cash. There is a table on this page that shows the difference between each of the units in the Asus z77 line, and the difference between the pro and the deluxe is not really justified.

Thanks both of you for the quick replies. I'm gonna think about downgrade to pro, and i'm gonna change the psu. About the 660 - 660ti and 670 is there a big difference between them ? I checked the specifics didn't find much differences.

Here is a vid showing performance differences.

It's not a huge difference in 660 and 660ti, probably I will stay with 660 then. Thanks smile.gif
