Help me light up my case? (LEDs and UV Tubing)

for general lighting i was thinking of using thise
http://www.amazon.com/Hitlights-Blue-Lighting-Strip-Meter/dp/B005GL55IU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1346951766&sr=8-1&keywords=blue+led+strip

this should be plenty to make it shine bright,
however i dont really know how to best go about adding UV in there as well. i specificaly want to light up my tubes

budget options prefferable.

are UV LED's any good for this purpouse or will i need cold caths?

I don't think having both lights and UV lights will work very well. I would have one or the other. LED Strips are fine, you just need to find a 12v one. Most are 24v from my experience.

the ones i linked are 12 v

and i swear ive seen people combine the two before... im only using it for its neon effect, specificly on the tubes.

however that being said if i do have to have one or the other only, i think i would preffer the leds
