Yes, I believe all the 7870 tahiti le's are voltage locked. I have used sapphire trixx with mine before and have the vddc slider maxed to 1.3v and see only 1.256v max in gpuz on full load.

.

I'm also using msi afterburner right now with my mysts, last time I check I didn't have a voltage adjustment bar even with voltage unlock checked. Just recently flashed a new bios to my crads and will check voltage in afterburner again. I hope it unlocks so if I do put these under water, I can overclock them more. thumb.gif

Yes last time I tired trixx, I have a vddc adjustment bar and I was able to push it to 1.3v. But gpuz shows 1.256v on full load only. So seems like the vddc adjustment bar didn't do anything for me. With or without trixx, my voltage still goes up to 1.256v on full load.

Yeah for me in Gigabyte OC Guru and HWINFO I also get 1.256v displayed for VDDC..

So it seems the VTX3D, Sapphire XT and Club3d versions of this card are voltage locked?

Just flashed both of my 7870 mysts to the .032 bios and... I flashed back to the .028.

If I tried anything other than 1500 memory clock, the cards hard locked requiring a reset.
3DMark11 was ~12800 with .032 1175/1500
and 12972 with .028 1175/1550 http://www.3dmark.com/3dm11/6165703

Trying to break 13000...

Here's the .032 bios link- https://docs.google.com/file/d/0BzKqF9tJaUF8T1RVRFVWNjNKNHc/edit?usp=sharing

Getting the throttling same as everyone else on the two Myst.'s I just bought.
How do you tell what bios is on the cards?
Edit: nm you probably go by the .028 eh

Shows this in Gpu-Z

Edit2: AMD Overdrive 13.1 wouldn't work so tried the beta 13.3 and my card no longer throttles when I use AMD Overdrive vs MSI Afterburner.

Still has that energy saving junk that throttles the gpu% on my second card though.

My graphics scores aren't making much sense though. Two cards vs one and you're all getting higher graphics scores, here's mine.
After disabling powerplay I still only come close to overclocked single cards. I know most of you are running i7s overclocked but on the gpu side of things I should be beating you I figured. Am I wrong?powerplay disabled
