So when talking about sensors, Imperator, Ouroboros and Mamba are as good as the Deathadder 2013?
Hell NO! They are crap compared to the DA. Completely different sensors.

Humm, really?
I thought they were botj 4G dual sensor

So...which mices do you think are as good as deathadder 2013 other than other deathadders?
AFAIK, the Imperator, Ouroboros and Mamba which are 2012 use the 4G Dual sensor which is I believe the Philips PLN 2033. The DA 2k13 uses an Avago ADNS-S3988 which is a lot better. I believe most PLN 2033's have the z-axis issue? Please confirm

All PLN sensors do track on the Z-axis.
Although Madcatz covers part of the sensor for their latest RAT models to reduce the Z-axis tracking.

just switched back to my sensei from da2013, seriously theres just something about the sensei that makes me play better.

let that be a lesson to most people, sometimes all the specs in the world in a mouse wont mean **** if you naturally play better with something else.

Maybe I'll just get the old Razer Deathadder, my budget is tight right now, so...

If anyone has last recommendations of some nice, beautiful, cheap mices, please tell me now. frown.gif

You can always try the Logitech G400 which is pretty cheap, the Roccat Savu which can be found for around $50, the CM Storm Recon or Spawn, or just head over to Craigslist to find a cheap Deathadder. So far even the regular Deathadders are going for $45 - 60 brand new.

@Erik, Zowie EC1 (big hands) or EC2 (normal hands) are very viable and cheap alternatives. Sure they might have only 2300 DPI but they work really well and have almost flawless sensors provided you buy a gaming mat without color variation or their stuff. Check out Canada Computers. If you are still hooked on DA2013 I found it in staples for 10$ more than Canada Computers. DA2013 is Awesome, I just got it yesterday

Sensor manufacturers use both.

Each definition come to a similar conclusion if you consider pixels "dots". I rather just use DPI not to confuse people.
