I just had this happen to my Patriot SSD and i was a SAD Panda last night when i couldn't get it to reconnect. I figured just plugging it back into the Sata cable with the plastic piece inside would still make the connection, but i get a BOOTMGR is missing message as the SSD is where i have Windows installed. I might try the superglue thing and a new sata cable.

Wish me luck!
