Would this loop

(bay res has pump in it)

My question is in regards to where the connections are circled in red. Would it be okay to have the tube running out of the cpu block go back into the gpu and then out of it again before going back to the res? Or, would I have to make a direct connection from the cpu block back to the res?

the box on the left is a rad and the the one above the cpu block is the gpu.

i'd personally would rather see the cpu in series with something instead of parallel with something...

it should be rotated by 180 degrees. smile.gif

When you run parallel components you don't know where the flow will go to. The component with the least resistance (GPU?) will get the most flow, but how much flow will go to each component is unknown. I suppose you could do the calculations (Skinnee Labs) but, at best, each component will only get 1/2 the flow.

Also, in a series setup the temperature of the water, anywhere in the loop compared to anywhere else in the loop, won't vary by more than 1/2° (typically 1/4°).

Yeah, I read that you should only run paralleled with the exact same blocks (GPU for example) I guess serial it is then, it makes the tube runs a lot uglier though. ;(

Yeah, I was just messing around with the ft04/rv04 designs. I asked a silverstone rep on facebook about watercooling and he told me that the the front supports the a2x180 magicool rad. It seems like you can only have the threads at the top of the case though, as there isn't enough clearance at the bottom.
