This is how its gonna play out for Kepler:

Ranked after performance:
#1: GTX Titan GK110
#2: GK104 --> GK114 (GTX 780/GTX 770)
#3: GK106 --> GK116 (GTX 760Ti/GTX 760)
#4: GK107 --> GK117 (GT 7xx)

Making the titan a 600 series card would make no sense. But it would make about as much sense as just "Titan" I guess.

and your point is? i dont see no cpu used or clocks on the test either... So leave my cpu the way it is and fire up away.. It matches the 7970ghz on the chart what are you complaining about?

The test is a slideshow on extreme anyway..

Thanks for proving my point.

You scored 3501 and they scored 3401.

Whether the Titan score is real or not, the 7970 ghz score is within reason.

Err, That 3501 score isn`t just based on the GPU. Its the whole picture. So if you overclock the CPU, that score will be higher. Which is the reason why its useless to compare two 3DMark score with two different CPUs. The "Graphic score" is pure GPU

But nice try mr grumpy

Ehh..

512-bit memory bus? I think this listing is a bit on the cow poop side of things.

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Hell, I bought my 7970 from Amazon Warehouse with almost 3 years warranty for $302 shipped. While discussing money, I just purchased a couple of matching pistols for Valentines day for my wife and I, and plan on dropping more $ on a Titan. My point? People tend to be willing to spend money on their hobbies, and generally don't feel bad about it.

Pretty sure Cloud is just wanting attention at this point by saying people regret their purchases and such...

That would only work if Titan is available in limited quantities. GTX780 has to be faster unless its 6 months after Titian.

Ì think thats the whole point Zealot.

Mainstream gamers only need smaller dies since 680 is so effective with the current games, so they`ll settle with GK114 which is an improvement over 680.
Titan will be exclusive and will be kinda limited. Which is why it is named Titan and not be part of the 700 series with a digit as name

Atleast that is what I think smile.gif
post #300 of 606
Surprisingly the titan cannot do 4k resolutions as well people are hoping for, my 7970 24/7 clocks are 1300/2000 and surely i can get close to that..
http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/184117? cpu@4ghz

You need more than 1 titan to do that sorry guys to burst all your bubbles...

Again you guys should worry on how hot and how good this card will overclock ON AIR im not expecting watercooling support for it neither and availability will be out of the question....
