I wish people would stop with the "X dual GPU setup will beat this". Everyone knows that lower end dual GPUs will beat a higher end single GPU. Take 560Tis and a 580 for example. 560Ti SLI was definitely better price/performance but lots of people bought the 580.

gtx 690 performs better than the titan, so it's quite obvious that the 7990 performs better than the titan. you are comparing two gpus vs 1 gpu.
why don't you compare quad gtx 480 vs a titan? guess what? the quad 480 wins.

stop posting nonsense.

2 GTX 560 Ti cards were more expensive than 1 GTX580.

unless the Titan is less than 900 that will not be the case here. Granted we do not know the price or performance level of the titan at this point.

Lots of fanboy hype around this card for some reason.

12.11 would have been great if all the gains made it through to 13.1 whql. As you can see, they most certainly did not.

If not for the gains found in Battlefield 3, 12.11 is nothing more than a normal driver update.

uhm no, and your claim about the pricing doesn't make any sense.

you are right, but that's not really his point though. his point is about the comparison of dual gpu card vs single gpu.

he said "better price/performance ratio" or "more bang for your buck"
you want numbers to explain this further?

560Ti had an MSRP of $250 while the 580's MSRP was $500.

560Ti SLI was also significantly faster.
