Any advice on which Graphics card I should keep?

EVGA GeForce GTX680 SuperClocked 2048MB GDDR5,
DVI, DVI-D, HDMI, DisplayPort, 4-way SLI Ready Graphics Card Graphics Cards 02G-P4-2684-KR

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 680 OC 2 GB GDDR5 DVI-I/DVI-D/HDMI/Display port PCI-Express 3.0 Graphics Card (GV-N680OC-2GD)

I'd keep the EVGA. Superclocked means its faster at stock plus its binned higher for OCing. Also, EVGA has pretty much the BEST customer service. Nothing against Galaxy (I had a Galaxy 9600GT back in the day and it was great), but EVGA is a better choice.

Replaced my Mobo with an ASRock Extreme4 Z77. Will report back on Thursday with how it turns out.

I was actually trying to decide on that or the Sabertooth Z77 but I didn't really see much of a difference. Not enough to warrant an extra $100.

So the motherboard came in last night. Everything works, but it is going insanely slow. I did a bench with the windows thing and it score a 7.9 so I haven't figured out why yet.

Boot times and shutdown times have been in the minutes, where it used to be like 15 seconds for both, and I left driver installion on overnight cause it was taking so long, and it was on the second driver this morning. Not sure what the deal is there...

Anyways, everything works now. Thanks for the all the help and I'll rep up the thread.

Did you remember to change to AHCI mode in the BIOS?

I'm 90% sure that was the default. I never changed it. I'll look into it when I get home though, it may just be the DVD drive messing up too, although it worked fine before.

So apparently you need to reinstall Windows when you put a new motherboard in... I didn't realize that, and since it booted up fine figured that wasn't the case.... Well, I was wrong. Feel kinda stupid now but everything works finally.

Thanks for the help everyone! Time to enjoy this thing now.

Alright, I'm back with more problems. I'd make a new thread but this one pretty much has all the information and the problem is similar...

I was playing Borderlands earlier and all of a sudden the screen goes dark. Had some really dark gray stripes along the screen but pretty much not functioning. Figured it was just a crash and restarted. Since then, BSOD (BCCode:116, Video Card) every time I bootup, just like before. Disable the driver in safe mode and all is good. I haven't overclocked or anything yet.

Do I have another faulty card?
