Ok so just to give an update I'm running fixed voltage of 1.2v and .008 additional turbo voltage and it is actually reading that. Running 4.2v and it seems to be stable. Temps arent getting over 70c on a custom intense p95 test that replicates what temps would be after running p95 for 6 or more hours on a blend test. Looking good! Ambient temps are around 25c.

Alright, another update. I'm back running at 4.4Ghz at 1.29v with .012 extra turbo voltage and temps dont go above 84c in the custom intense p95 test. Very happy right now!!!

My 3570k needs 1.136-1.144 for prime95 max load at 4.4 ghz. Max temps reach 63. 4.5ghz needs 1.176-1.184 with 65 max temp. I'm on asrock extreme4 and had another extreme4 before where temps were higher and vdroop was smaller. I will push for 4.8 in a year or two if I need it or if I still have this cpu. Right now I don't need it and feel I could easily make it to 4.8 with ok temps.

So I ran p95 overnight and I got an error on worker #2 and I really didnt want to have to raise the voltage anymore so I decided to go back a couple steps and I'm at 4.1Ghz at 1.245v. Its strange because I seem to know when I reach a stable point because my mouse works when I turn on the computer. When I am not at a stable voltage I have to unplug the mouse and plug it back in to make it work. Isnt that wierd?? I'm pretty bummed about all of this. I wanted to get to AT LEAST 4.3Ghz under 1.3v, but that is just not going to happen.

Yes, sounds like the same chip that I have. I figured .3Ghz won't kill me so I'm at 4.1Ghz because I can run it a whole .1v. Less than 4.4Ghz so in turn my chip runs a lot cooler. I'm running completely stable at 1.245v. I wish Ivcould figure e whole offset thing out, bvut everytime I try it my voltage spikes back to 1.361|
