Upgrading - Few questions, assistance needed.

Alright the time has come that I need to upgrade my graphics cards, along with the rest of my PC. I have already selected the cpu (i7 3930k) , psu (corsair 1200w), mb (rampage iv extreme) and I'm having a rough time with the graphics cards due to all the options out there. I'm not looking for fan boy answers, i'm looking for general facts, statements, truths, etc.. and I hope here, is somewhere I can get some answers. Right now I've seen a few different options at this time: 7990 card, CF 7970 cards, GTX 690, SLI 680's, Aires II, and the Titan.

Now I know the titan hasn't been released yet, but with all the hype and talking about it, I'm sure it can be fit into a performance, quality, etc line with the current high end gpu's that are currently on the market. I game on (1980x1020 x3) eyefinity, as well as (1980x1020) standard. I'm looking for the best option to go for cards that are going to be top of the line performance, quality, etc. I know the drivers difference between AMD and Nvidia, where Nvidia is superior in the drivers standard, but that doesn't entire mean that because of that they outperform certain AMD cards.

Hopefully some people can give me insight on what exactly I should go with for quality, performance, etc, that's going to outperform, and just be what I'm looking for with no superior issues.

why don't you wait for a couple of weeks till Titan is launched. then decide based on is performance.

Well we already know it's going to be a 2gpu card, relatively the same in correlation to the 7990. Looking to hear what people have to say and recommend. As if the CF/SLI will out perform the titan, same as currently CF/SLI outperform the 690.

Hoping I can narrow it down as what to get, or whatever. As if the titan is one of the main topics and recommendations, then I can wait, if not then the other cards are available now.

Geforce Titan is a single chip graphics card based on the Nvidia GK110 chip.

Well is it speculated to outperform the 690? Or the SLI/CF 7970's/680's? Or the 7990? That's what I'm trying to find out here... what is the best to go with. Right now w/o the Titan, was the best top of line performance there is?

Titan is expected to be 15 - 20% slower than GTX 690. But given that its a single GPU and can be easily overclocked to match GTX 690 performance its the best choice for somebody who wants to spend USD 900. always a single GPU provides the best and most consistent experience.

If it's about 15-20% slower than the GTX 690, that puts it behind performance wise in comparison to SLI 680's, and CF 7970's correct...? Which would mean better to decide between the sli/cf?

but thats all just speculation, it could be priced anywhere up to $1300 usd
