The reviewer gets comparable fps with a system similar to yours. Try to o/c if you haven't already, It will most likely help. But truth be told, Crysis 3 is one huge hardware black hole.

The problem is ropes. Yes, ropes. Rope physics indeed.

Pretty much nothing you can do now to fix it, you'll have to wait for Crytek to patch rope physics. Until then, have you tried benchmarks such as 3D Mark 11 or such to check if you're rig is performing at what it should be?
