Question about SMART Power on time

Thread Starter
correct me if im wrong, but this tells you how much time your HDD has left correct?

Starting at 100?

mine is at 94

My question is, does it check the HDD for the status? or does it automatically drop over time?

and what is the limit to where i could see errors?

No. It doesnt give you a time factor.

The Values 100 or 94 are simply Best or wors vales. SMART compares your Values from your HDD and compare them to a typical Value found on healthy HDD's...Then gives you a general Overlook.

94 is Fine.
