I'd personally pick the corsair, as in my opinion that's the most reputable brand of the ones you've chosen.

750W is not necessary.  All that you really need is a 400-450W power supply.

  • Will you ever have more than one video card?
  • Will you be overclocking the 7870?

The FX-6300 is a 95w TDP CPU, and the 7870XT is a 185w TDP video card. Throw in all the other sundry items, and you're consuming at most 350w total (presuming that you're not overclocking and only running one GPU).

You'd be better served getting an higher-quality 80-PLUS Gold rated PSU more in line with your true power needs, such as the Seasonic G-Series SSR-450M or the Rosewill Capstone-450. If you want that extra little bit of headroom, they also make 550w models of said units.

i will be overclocking the 7870 since it is the xt and is simple to overclock. i may get another 7870 down the road when and if i need it. thats why i want a larger power supply.

i can really only spend around 70-80 for a power supply, so is there any recommendations you would have for me? i would at least want a 600w or 650w and that is at least 80+ bronze

well in that case i would at least like 550 or 650 because i will be overclocking and just incase down the line i decide to get another gpu,
