Just one thing to note is that OP is in Australia. Gigabyte boards are quite expensive there...

This was the reason i went for the Extreme4. Anything comparable was costing $50 more...

I have had no problems at all with my Extreme4 running my 3770k at 4.6ghz all day everyday. I had a Z68 Pro3 before it running my 2600k at 4.6ghz also, and never had issues with that either. ASRock boards are rock solid imo, and if I move to LGA2011 I will be grabbing an ASRock board for that too smile.gif

ASUS is also the parent company to ASRock. Regardless of what ASRock board that you pick up, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Incase you're interested here's a link to the ASRock Z77 Extreme4.

Nope Asus aren't the parent company of Asrock.......

OP If you can stretch to the Fatal1ty pro over the performance version i would recommend that. My pro is a great overclocker.

The Extreme 4 is a good board for it's price point but i would be looking at the extreme 6 and above for vrm quality

Sorry all for the incredibly late reply but based on your advice it looks like the Extreme6 is the best out of those three boards. I understand that that UD3H and UD4H are better boards but as DeXel rightfully acknowledged, Australian prices tend to be quite different to those in other countries.

Thanks for all the help! +1 rep to all smile.gif
