[HWI] Club 3D Radeon 7990 benchmark - Page 3

When you buy 2 Radeon HD 7970 GHz Editions you are: 1) almost € 200 cheaper off, 2) gives you, without overclocking, improved performance due to the higher clock speeds, 3) it has more own overclocking headroom and 4) will output less noise. No mater how you look at it: two separate 7970 GHz Editions is in all cases a more sensible choice than a 7990."

My overclocking is fine. like i said i was having issues with ulps, and now thats resolved . so i am able to run 1200/1580 with temps never breaking 56-58c while gaming. and the noise level is on par with my two vortex II's. as for the ghz performance, i was able to flash the 2nd bios on both gpus to the ghz bios. and will run some benchies with that bios to check it out tonight.

Please please please show me this... If you don't mind helping a n00b out :-D

Can anyone find in this article the bench test specs for the GTX 690? (Drivers used)

Or any review from Hardware.info where they reviewed the GTX 690?

I can't verify how they obtained their numbers on the GTX 690 for this review. Must have missed that being in another language.

This must be the GTX 690 test which they compared with. They didn't had any 690 in the lab, so they couldn't run a fresh Fire Strike bench (thats what they talked about during the 7990 article)
So it seems the driver is a few months old... hmmz.

Good detective work. The 3DMark 11 scores match between these articles. I think Hardwareinfo should be more clear on this.

That matches the benchmarks scores I see now and they were using 302.59 drivers back in June. Should have made that clear on the test page it was 302.59 vs 13.1 if they were going to discuss and compare them in their review.

As for the 7990 from Club 3D standing on it's own merits, it really looks just like the Power Color version made available in other countries that might not have had the opportunity to purchase one which is great. smile.gif
