Good for them! I agree when people say it makes no sense, there's no reason even the same digital products cost more over there

That's why I love FrozenCPU, they will ship anything to to anyone anywhere. When GTX 680s came out I bought my three from them for $499 a piece plus $30 shipping when the stores over here were charging $650 for the exact same product and its EVGA so the warranty is global anyway. I refuse to pay AUS retail pricing on anything tech related anymore. I actually got $160 knocked off my Sennheiser pc360s in a retail store because I started laughing at the salesman when he told me they were priced at $450.

Bet this has something to do with it..........

Complain about they jack up your prices you make double what i do a hour. so...

Say they make pricing the same everywhere.

You make double what i do so then the usa would be at a loss.

If your minimum wage is 15$ a hour whats a norm base pay?
our minimum wage in tennessee is 7.25$
Your country would get ritcher...

Its just the cost of living for your country.

Who makes minimum wage? Who cares about minimum wage. What a stupid argument to bring up to somehow make ripping people off acceptable. The wages that unskilled teenagers make fresh out of highschool shouldn't really have any real bearing on standards or costs of living.

I don't know why people use "Because Australia's minimum wage is higher" as a reason to charge us more. If you owned a shop, and a poor and rich person walked in, would you charge one more than the other, just because they have more money?

A lot of people have worked hard to get where they are, a lot of us are lucky we were born here, but charging a country more just because of a strong economy is ridiculous.

Australia is getting walked all over because they lack any real buying power compared to the other main countries these companies occupy.

These companies realize that the Australian people have VERY LITTLE to no choice but to buy their product because they're essential products in their respective markets, and because they have so little buying power it's easy for them to have high prices. There is no competition and there won't be for awhile so the free market won't work., the government needed to step in and fix this, because their dollar is about equal to the US dollar and should be treated as such, because when companies see they have a good thing going they're never going to give it up themselves willingly.

No but only because you ask the wrong question the true question is "If a rich man and a poor man walked in to your shop and you could tell which was which every single time would you charge the rich man more"?...... now the answer is yes or if it's not yes you are a going to fail at big business in a capitalist society.

Not really, while I agree it seems pretty cr@ppy you get overcharged for anything charging people that have more money more for an item when they live on a separate continent meaning they have no other easy recourse to get said item is simply good business practice.
