P8Z77-V-PRO 3570K OVERCLOCK SETTINGS

Thread Starter
Hey guys,

I am looking for some definitive settings for overclocking this thing,

I'm not talking about clocks/voltages or possibly not even offsests, but just the important things.
Here what i have got so far:

Enable all C states and EIST.
Disable VT, Spread Sprectum, EPU power saving profile.
Set phase to optimal, and pick t.probe.

source http://forums.anandtech.com/showthread.php?t=2251205

Any help here would be greatly appreciated..

Just out of curiosity - when people post links (as i have above) how does one "rename" it, ie to "source" or "click here" etc etc

Regards
Paul

You can click on 'preview' instead of 'submit' to see if it has worked correctly.

Also, your settings look good, I didn't change anything other than what you listed, same mobo and CPU.

Just enter 42, you're entering the multiplier, so base clock of 100MHz x 42 = 4200.

hey guys,
Im in a pickle,
If i click defaults in my bios, cpuz and coretemp show my cpu @3800 and then goes to 1600

If i do like what it shows in my op, then under prime it stays @3.8 - both tpu NAD epu are disabled fwiw

I did have it running @4.7 with 1.3v manual with 76deg, saved the profile but when i reload that profile it just does the above.

I am on bios 1708

8,194KB is only 8MB, so will easily fit on a 8GB memory stick, Any USB memory stick will do.
The BIOS flashback feature on the P8Z77-V PRO is pretty good.
