Selling my fc 6870s- will a single 7950 work better for me?

Ok I decided to pull the trigger and sell my crossfired 6870s....I am gonna put an add on craigslist hopefully ill get something back on them.Now if I get a single 7950 will it at least match the performance level of my 6870s in crossfire? Or schould I hold out and just buy a 7970 and be done with it? I have a gpu I can use in the mean time if i sell my 6870s its a (6570) lol but at least that way i wont have to rush.What do u guys think i schould do? HIS had a 7950 on new-egg for $299 dollars and another one for $350 dollars....are they voltege locked the 7950s? Thank you

are you sure the other one avail;able for 350.00 was in fact an 7950. because thats in the territory of an 7970. As for the question of crossfired 6870, the 7950 would beat them. Moreover, no crossfiring hassels, and also, 1gb more vram than your 1gb xfired 6870

That one would be ok if i had no window on my rig,ltthose guys and sphire make some of the most ugliest cards ive ever seen,dark blue on a red pcb omg!? Ill stick with the refrence design then veacuse this would be an,eye sore for me lol! I like diamonds design so far...honestly i donr know wgat they were thinking when they designed it wow!
