I've been playing almost nothing but PS2 for the past few months and want to upgrade from my 6850 to something like a 7870XT or 7950, or possibly 660TI. The 660ti's price just puts me off and the "gifts" are worth nothing to me.... On the other hand, I look at the 7870XT and see the games I can sell along with my 6850 and I'm looking at an almost free upgrade...

So yea... even for people who only play PS2, this is pointless...

I own both and both are fine but this bundle is pathetic

Okay?

Congrats.

You all overestimate to resale value of game bundles...

Given that the direction the gaming industry seems to be heading is F2P (which isn't bad considering Tribes Ascend and PS2 are good games), if this bundle never expires, then it's actually worth the full $150. I would take this over any other game bundle if it had no expiration date considering how much PS2 I play.

If it was 150 euro worth of Riot points then this would be a other story... rolleyes.gif (Atleast for me)
I'll wait and see what the 700 series brings.

Two great upcoming $60 games or three times $50 credit in F2P games. The latter sounds like a joke in comparison.

NVIDIA would have more luck with TF2 hats.

Even though view distance is a separate setting, putting everything on low and view distance all the way up would still make faraway targets hard to see.

Now something like CS, since it's mostly close combat, I could understand why no one would care. But something like Black Ops 2 or BF3 you would want higher settings or else someone with higher settings would see you first and all that high fps you were using would be pointless.

Back on topic, Nvidia needs to go back to games with cards because this credit is useless for a lot of people. Would be difficult to sell as well.

Actually, everyone in the competitive BF3 scene turned all their settings to low. High FPS isn't pointless, you seem to not understand how the netcode works in most games.

$50 of Credits towards World of Tanks? I would take that over getting a whole new game for free. Too bad I am not interested in the GTX 6XX Series, my 580's are still pushing everything at max. Most of the time they dont bundle any games I really want anyways, Crysis 3 is of little interest to me. I will wait for it to be out for awhile and let them patch the hell out of it before I ever pick it up.
