3 Monitors setup, high-end gaming, what graphic card ?

Hello community !

I need to change my graphic card, in the next few days and I need your help on this one.

I have a 3 monitors setup, and I plan to play BF3 MAX OUT (MSAA and etc.).

My budget : around 600$ and maybe a little more if really needed. I would prefer 500$ as I need a new HDD too.

My initial idea was 680 with 4GB, than 2x 660ti 2GB, than a single 670 4GB and save some bucks, than 2x 7870 xfire, than 2x 7950 xfire...

I'm at a point I don't know anymore where I should head to. I prefer nVidia and I prefer a single powerful card BUT I want the best perfs for the buck so if it worth it to SLI or XFIRE i'll do it.

What you think ?

Im a Nvidia man myself, but with that budget id go with xfire 7950s for the best price / performance.

I don't usually good with "cheap" brand... Is it a good product ? Should I put more on the graphics card ? I mean the HDD is optional right now, I would need one eventually but not required for now.

I use a 7970 a single one, and I haven't come across a game that isn't playable o-O

He want's to max MSAA....

7950s / tahiti LE would be your best bet for this budget. 660tis might be another option, and of the 3 it would be what I would choose.

yes he does it is in his sig rig.

7970 should have no problem running eyefinity on newer games and be in your budget.

you do come into some issues with running SLI and crossfire, so that is why most people prefer one powerful card instead. I came into the same issue when I wanted to upgrade, but I am too busy with work and grad school, so I put my upgrade on hold.

good luck!

Any particular reason why you would go with the 660TIs ?

I echo both of these sentiments, I would add the 7870 XT or LE or whatever they call it in CF in there as well just because how close it is to a 7950 while saving a little money.
