yea.. it was with two 660ti @ 967/1046.. visible in my sig.
got them now at 1120mhz stable. the TOP edition from asus is binned better and can do around 1200mhz

but dont forget.. the 7970s were not oced. id say either 660 without ti.. unlock it OC it to over 1200 and SLI them if you want it cheap + a cheap 8800 physix or go with two 7950 in xfire.. cost more but imo its the best performance u can get for fair cash.

edit; if you wanna see impressive scores go to the heaven 4.0 benchmark thread where they burn up their quadSLI´s and quadfires biggrin.gif

Finally, after alot of research, many questions and few nights without sleep. I finally made my choice !

Two Galaxy 670 in SLI. 300$ each, I couldn't resist.

After many consideration the AMDs card are little more powerful on some aspects but I play primarly nVidia optimized games and second I would like to install Mac OS X as a dual boot wich required a nVidia card (Final Cut Pro is just awsome for movie editing).

But I really appreciated you help guys!

you´re welcome.. 300 bucks each look fair (;
check out pages with "SLI-bits" for nvidia inspector to get optimal sli performance

one more thing.. u might want to add one 120mm cooler somewhere to assist
providing the to gpu´s with fresher air if the upper card gets too much hotter than
the second one. GL
