Alright so I received a package with 5x DVI-D to HDMI cables so I can properly configure my 3 Surround + 2 Accessory dsplays.
It seems I'm having driver issues and keep bluescreening with IRQL problems so I'll fiddle with it some more, back the OC off a little and try again. Once I get the setup working properly, I'll be ordering the 4th GTX 680.. among other things wink.gif

Oh right, and powder coating! I've contacted a couple of the custom powder coat'ers around the area and am waiting to hear back on some quotes. Unless they are extremely outrageous, I'll be looking to get that done and then get some gear in there!

Hey all, after 3 days and multiple fresh installs/ bios flashes later we've finally got the graphics situation solved.
Just to refresh, the goal was for the bottom three 27s to be ran in Surround and the top two 23s to be ran as separate displays, outside of the surround bubble.

In the end, surround is running on two cards, while the third card is a dedicated PhysX + top two monitors card, which is perfect.

I downloaded Eve since I know it does Surround really well and put the two cards to the test. With fully maxed settings and full AA, we got this:

These cards are hot hot wedged up against each other only on air. Definitely can't wait to get the blocks on them and cool them properly that's for sure!
Now realizing this is only essentially two way SLI (since the third card is PhysX+accessory monitors), I think we'll definitely see each card work a lot less when the 4th card gets in (which is ordered and on it's way).
When the 4th card gets in, we'll be running Tri-SLI on the bottom three monitors and a 4th card to run the top 2 + PhysX.

In other news, the powder coating shop got back to me and gave me an approximate quote of $120 - $150 depending on the color. I was honestly shocked considering I thought it would run me near $400. Lucky me!

You may want to replace the thermal paste on all your cards with Coollaboratory Liquid Pro or Ultra. It will reduce temps by 10-15c easily. Guaranteed wink.gif

Oh yeah! Something is definitely replacing the stock paste. Those temps were factory stock paste, cooler, and clocks.
