Worth CPU upgrade, possible?

I currently have an HP Dv6-6135dx with the following specs:
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c02880009&cc=us&lc=en&product=5118737

Now, I'm waiting for for a new APU update from AMD and the new 8 Series cards, but for now I would like to upgrade my current rig and want to know if this CPU is supported in my system:
http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/K10/AMD-A8-Series%20A8-3550MX.html

Would I have an issue upgrading to that CPU + 1600 ram, even though its a 45W CPU? (My current A8-3500M is 35W)

Do you know what kind of motherboard the laptop has? At face value it looks like the CPU should be fine, however, you would want to make sure the RAM has the same timings and voltage as the RAM that's currently in.

You can't upgrade your laptop, the number one reason is it is a laptop. And (usually) only the RAM can be upgraded.
