I think you should repaint that...looks good though.

7870 XT by Sapphire is a good choice and is ridiculously cheap, same price as a regular 7870 but packs the same punch as a 7950 (or close to it) cause it IS in fact a cut down 7950 and not a standard pitcairn core like all 7870s. 7870 LE by Powercolor is cheaper I think, I guess both would be adequate and any of them in xfire would be an awesome choice for eyefinity. thumb.gif

EDIT: Told ya! biggrin.gif

Maybe you can ditch the 6970s altogether and grab dual 7870 XT/LE cards. (tahiti le core, almost the same as a 7950 once oced, maybe beats it)

i just looked and it does seem like there a good bet for aroud the same price on ebay, It doesent look like they have a X2 edition so I could do trifire, I know I dont need to do Trifire but its more for bragging rights lol. Also seems like a big hassle to do all that now but maybe down the line I will upgrade. Maybe then they will be even cheaper. I did concenplate doing a simular card before I think 7950's but I decided to stick with the 6970 I already have and just order a few more since it already maxes out all games for the most part! thinking.gif

Yea sounds good, But no funds! rolleyes.gif And im already in deep. I think this is a good idea to do later maybe next year lol tongue.gif. I could sell my current cards and buy them but thats too much hassle, i still have one 6950 in the mail lol. At least these do overclock well, I could almost come to the same performance but not haveing the same memory bandwidth is what really holds me back!

Those are great for pcmark05 and similar hdd benchies...
I figured you might enjoy this sort of biased review
You could always score a 6990, they will xfire with your 6950 or 6970 anyway. But they introduce some massive microstuttering from what I gather.

I looked it up and there is some mention of it but in mixed ways, alot of people say its not noticeable...... I guess I will have to try it myself to find out! As soon as I get enough REP I will make a listing for some 6970's and other things, maybe even a trade two for one....

That PSU Fatality logo looks good! I understand what you mean about getting in deep. Just buying the beginning parts for a build you can spend a small fortune if you're not paying attention. With a fully custom build like this one you've invested a large amount of time and funds into this one build. applaud.gif It looks great though!
