and will the hd7770 oc good?

thx for your anwsers:)
Are you using multiple displays? if not...
2560x1600= 2gigs video card ram
1920x1200= 1 gig video ram
This should give you some overhead if you want to switch to multiple displays but if you are going to play games on ultra (like farcry 3) i would go with a 680 or wait for the 780 or 770 to come out. GO NVIDIA i have a 7970 and there are like 100 little things that are hurting my gaming experience

I would save up for a complete overhaul.

Cpu/mobo/gfx card. even if you CFX 7770s your going to have problems with cpu keeping up.

AMD tops out at PCI-E 2.0 anyway. 1333mhz is fine, people do recommend 1600mhz or higher but in real world scenarios it doesn't make much difference unless you run synthetic benchmarks to show it.

I would personally go in the middle and get a HD 7850 and upgrade that processor to a FX-6300 to go mid way.

If you have the money you could go over to a Intel 1155 socket board with an i5, but they're a bit pricey.

i only have a 480 watt power supply(a cheap ass one)
can i still use the hd 7950 whit it?
according to this web my computer should only take 453 watt on full load.
whit the cpu overclocked smile.gif

I just picked up a gigabyte 7950 and right out of the box overclocked to 1200/1575 and it is faster than a 660 ti hands down. Granted its a benchmark, but I got 10,400 on 3DMark 11 which is comparable to many 680 scores. Another thing, most benchmarks of games like previously posted are completely useless. In the benchmark they could be using a stock card and old drivers. The difference between overclocking and using the latest 13.2 drivers make a very substantial difference.

No at least quality 550W-600W for CPU overclocking (depending on chip, upgrade CPU athlon won't cut it) and 7950.
