I read a few reviews and purchased the 840 non pro version on sale and I love it. Blazing fast, zero problems.

Not a good price for that SSD. Should be able to find in on sale 80-90$. From what i hear it not meant to last as long as the Pro version and is slower.

Got it for $150 NZD, it was an impulse buy.
Best upgrade to any of my systems since I bought a 5870 to replace a X1300

The read speeds are the same, the write speed is slower. You're more worried about read anyway. The 840 is recommended because of the overall speed, price and life of the drive. The vanilla version is still a very reliable drive. Not to mention they come with a 5 year warranty if I'm not mistaken..

Can someone please provide me a screenshot with HD Tune regarding Maximum Read Latency and Maximum Write Latency? I'm intrested in this with the latest firmware. I know it used to have poor perfomances with max latency, only the 120gb version, non PRO. It 90% my next purchase and i want to make sure those little problems are fixed. Thanks!
