I have CNPS9700 which took my E6600 2.4 Ghz to 3.66Ghz at vcore 1.35v. Keeps my CPU at 52C on Load. May be my case(Xclio A380B) might have helped it a little bit too in keeping my temps down.

Yea probably. The Tuniq is so big... I'm sorta afraid it might snap off or something.

Thats the issue with both the Tuniq and the Scythe. So nig that 1, can it fit in your case and 2 will it stay where its supposed to. I mean theres always things you can do, like tie it to part of your tower chasis or whatever.

I know the 9700 will fit in my case however because the top is round in shape. It's really a personal preference. I decided to try the Zalman.

My vote goes to the Infinity. I had one and it was great. Get one of those Silverstone fans to go with it and call it good. I wouldn't worry about breaking something to be honest. Installing on the 939 mounting is very easy.

So many choices... I'm gonna have to be thinking about this. I'm leaning towards a Tuniq and lapping it.

Tuniqs connect behind the motherboard. I'd be surprised if one broke off.

Mounting it behind your motherboard isn't hard as long as you can easily remove the motherboard. If thats hard, then mounting most heatsink/fans would be hard.
