[VC] NVIDIA GeForce GTX Titan To Be Released on February 18th - Page 57

my whole thing if rumors are true, if the clock speeds are true and this is only 50% faster than a 680 and if this cost more than a 690 why even buy this card? honestly it just doesnt make sense to me.

690 has only 2GB RAM and generally doesn't overclock well. Not to mention quality of performance is usually the best on single GPU cards versus dual. I'd much rather have 2x Titan's for high resolution displays than 2x 690's in Quad-SLI.

No sli issues but massive performance
Or the most powerful setup with sli.
You can't put 4 gtx690 in sli, can you?

I hope that this is not going to be a limited ed because I really want this frown.gif.

P.s the card looks magnificent I hope ek launches some nice back plates for this beast, my 7970 looks very docile compared to this lol.

Volage locked, more power hungry and thus probably runs hotter than GK104 and uses a blower, i don't think this will be overclocking as well as people hope. Underwater probably another story
