AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

You see how bad of a job they did putting that sticker on over that 680?! That is hilarious!

Nope, that is normal when you use Nerdagra™........works for me very time.

Nerdagra™: Side effects may include enlarged e-peen, increased heart rate, slimming of wallet, higher than normal frame rates.

Should you experience any of these please, don't wait, log into your game server and immediately consult with the first enemy seen. As you may be experiencing a rare condition known as "pwnage" and immediate fragging is required.

Eh, we still don't know if it is voltage locked or not. Nvidia stated the reason they voltage locked GK104 was that it crapped out and died in a blaze of glory at higher voltage, this very well may not apply to GK110.

Problem I have is that, with a 680 SLI setup the only upgrade I see is to a Titan SLI setup. Going down to one card you do gain the single card reliability and not needing SLI profile, but you loose power. So really the only way I see this as an upgrade is Titan SLI. And you are back to SLI advantages/disadvantages. And who knows how well the driver support for these will be. They could be great, they could suck. That is a $1600 to $2000 gamble.

I game at 1920x1200 and so I know titan is really going to help people at higher resolutions more then someone at my resolution. Honestly the only reason I have not gone to a higher resolution is that there is not a lot of cards out there that can do 2560x1600 max settings with only SLI. I didn't want to do Quad SLI.

What will be interesting will be the Crysis 3 Benchmarks. If a lot of peoples video cards can run that well already, I see some incentive dropping for Titan. If only a few can run it, then the Titan might look like a better option. I can run everything max at my resolution. The only thing I have had trouble with is Far Cry 3 Maxed with 8x MSAA, even with 4gb SLI. but I still believe that is more a problem with far cry 3 then the setup.

No, Nividia didn't want to mess with the RMAs of volt-killed GPUs, and I'm sure the same will be applied for the Titan.

Interesting, that's not long been updated... It does go against quite a few other leaks but it would certainly be nice smile.gif

The nice thing about going to ultra high resolutions and pixel density is that you don't need to max the visual settings to get the nice visuals. You can, in a lot of cases, drastically turn down AA at 1440P and 1600P and have the same look as with high AA at 1080P and 1200P. AA was designed to make what few pixels were on screen look as best as possible, but with high pixel count, it isn't need as much. Remember, 1440P has almost double the pixel count of 1080P.

I can't wait to see Titan in SLi and what that can do.....should be insane.
