[VC] NVIDIA GeForce GTX Titan To Be Released on February 18th - Page 69

Best thing about limited releases like Titan is that the resale value will still be pretty high for a while. I mean, if there really is no replacement for the 7970/680 for the rest of the year you could probably sell them for not much less than you paid 8 months from now...

I've been wanting an upgrade for a awhile now. (as you can see with my sig rig I'm a little underpowered in the graphics department) I'm definitely gonna buy one of these I've never had a uber premium hardware part before. how much will this be again? I just posted my gtx 680 now. I figured I should sell it asap till it has good resale value

It's cool the Titan is coming out soon for sure, but I always think it's funny when people start saying "Please let this card be no more than [Insert an insane amount of money here]"!!!! as if they're actually going to purchase the video card if it costs $900 or less.

Sure, a lot of us are enthusiasts, but how many of us have 7990's or GTX 690's? And how many of us REALLY drop $900 on a video card? I've built over 50 custom systems in the past 5 years and the I think the most I have ever spent on GPU's is about $350.

Well you know what they say about "Fools" and their money.

"A fool and their money are soon parted"

That listing is from earlier. He changed the picture about 1hr after real pictures leaked. He had a 680 with poorly placed nVidia stickers before.

jprovido, can you please send me you bios so I can try them if it's not too much trouble? I have also a Palit 680 JS and I wouldn't mind to try the bios you are using. Thank you.tongue.gif

So does anyone have any actual proof that launch date is today? Like a hard reliable source.

This is what the HardwareCanucks editor posted

we might not actually see these cards until the end of the week. Luckily we have Crysis 3 and the PS4 if Nvidia decides to shaft us today.

exactly, it's like asking why people buy ferraris to go 60 in the city.

Sure you probably don't need anything more than a GTX 560 to play most PC games, but if you can afford 2 7990s or 690s then why not lol tongue.gif

No definitive date for Titan but there's been enough rumors flying around that I'm fairly certain we will find something out today. Linus pretty much admitted to getting his review sample yesterday and they said they'd be working on it all weekend so I'm guessing the reviews will be out in a matter of hours rather than days at this point...
