Windows 8 rage!

Thread Starter
So i decided to give windows 8 the benefit of the dought and even after trying the RTM. Bought start8 for the start menu back, loading all my games and backup, all was fine till about a week later i keep running into horrible random disc usage and flutters in games (Even on my HTPC DVR) Disc usage would randomly hit 80-100% while no apps or tasks running. Did i mention my Sapphire 7950 Freaks out to hell if i overclock while in windows 8? (doesn't happen in winxp vista, or win7)

I have about had it with Microsoft !
I really wish they would quit being morons and bring the simple but perfect experience found in win95 win98 and winxp!

If anyone else hates windows 8 as much as i do please rage below!

Get rid of Start8. Waste of money and resources. Not to mention the potential conflicts that could arise. You'll be better off knowing how to use W8 correctly as it will come in handy when you get a slew of W8 systems on your workbench.

why do people insist of having a start menu. is that so big of a deal?

I use it, I like it. Is personal preference. That's all. I can function without it, but I don't have to.

terrible analogy. i admit that i worded it kinda wrong, but my point is still the same. what is so big deal about the start menu?

Stable as a rock for me and never have had a single issue with it. Looks and feels like part of the os. The tile start menu be damned! I never see or use it period.

Idk it's very unstable for my bulldozer. And has a ton of stuff that bogs down my system even on fresh installs. Some games will run fine then stall for half a second like the hard drive is on load. It's not my gpu or CPU already checked that

Htpc unstable too good thing I didn't register my key I gave it to my brother for a bday present haha.... He's not a big pc gamer so he won't notice the piece of crap performance

Once you stop using the start menu that your so accustomed to using you'll realize that you really don't need it.
