Yeah, this is pretty much why I didn't recommend those other Asus boards.

While it's not a bad board at all, there are much better choices for the money. I believe the only P8Z77 with a true 6 phase digital PWM is the Pro. Anything below uses a lower quality 4+1 phase digital PWM along with doublers. The cheaper Gigabyte and MSI boards I listed don't do this.

Is there any particular reason you picked the P8Z77-V Pro? For about $50 less I'd recommend the Gigabyte Z77X-UD3H. I feel like a parrot repeating this in so many threads, but the board really is that good; especially for the price. Gigabyte really did their homework when designing the VRMs for their Z77 lineup.

The MSI Z77A-GD55/65 are also great budget boards if you want to save a few more bucks.

Aside from that, everything else looks great!

Yea I went with the Asus board because it's $50 off when paired with the 3570k @ Microcenter. Also I've always had Asus and never had a problem. Lastly I liked the heatsyncs all around the board to help keep the temps down.

What board should I get ?!

Spending $200 on that board seems kind of nonsensical. Gigabyte Z77X-UD3H or ASRock Z77 Extreme6 for half the price practically.

The board is $50 off instantly when paired with the 3570k however, so is the UD3H which makes that board $99.00. I've updated to reflect the price.
