I was thinking about getting a CLC like the H100 or the Water 2.0, not sure about what temps will look like though.

My vcore is around 1.3 under load on Evo212, but i have h100i coming.

Then just overclock it to run some benchmarks! It allows you to have the fun of tweaking and awesome scores, but you don't have to wait around for 800 hours of Prim 95 wheee.gif

The only correct way to measure the tCase temperature is by cutting a groove into the top of the heat spreader and then you need to mount a calibrated sensor at the geometric center of the IHS. Obviously, Intel never intended for the tCase temperature to be measured by individual users. It is only intended for system builders that need to design a case and heatsink with the appropriate airflow and cooling.

Intel added core temperature sensors to prevent their CPUs from operating at too high a temperature. As long as your CPU is not thermal throttling then it is running within the Intel spec. On Ivy Bridge, this doesn't happen until a peak core temperature of 105C and the thermal shut down temperature is not until 25C after that. No worries. If you stop running your CPU when the core temperature gets up to 67.4C then you are missing out on getting the full performance out of your CPU.
