Why arent the SP120 fans PWM? - Page 5

I used a Recon with splitters on each channel just fine. Channel 1 had 3 SP120 performance, channel 2 had 2 Sp120, channel 3 had a single AF120 performance, and channel 4 had a single SP120 quiet edition.
The Recon works just fine with splitters , the same as any other fan controller. The only thing is it uses RPM to control speed but many do that to. When using splitters you just need to make sure that only one fan on each splitter is sending its RPM signal back to the controller. If all the fans on a splitter are sending their RPM to the controller it can confuse it ... but that is true of many fan controllers.

All you need to do is unplug the third pin on each extra fan you add to a channel, or use spliiters that don't connect all three wires.
