270 kills and only 8 deaths in noshahr canals team death match 64 players. Tell me that isn't hacking.

My best round score ever was probably 51-5, and I'm certainly not anywhere near the best BF3 player. '270-8' alone doesn't scream cheater, especially since on such a huge TDM game (even more so without vehicles) people typically stack up as medics and revive everyone in sight. 270-8 is actually bad compared to the obnoxious Metro regulars.

Killstreak Bonus = 1,251

As in, 1,251-0. His accuracy, score/minute, and W/L ratio are nothing to brag about, I wouldn't jump to calling him a cheater. Metro nob? Yes, but not cheater.

I am willing to bet that nobody can do that score in that particular situation where your enemies are spawning left and right and front and back.
He is a support, level 34, used a PKP pecheneg that whole round.

Now you've got me wondering if I hack?

The truth of the matter is that to paint an accurate picture you really need to see how many times a player was revived. The KDR of a bf3 round is nowhere near comparable to other games. Sure, a skilled squad of medics and support can ALL go without showing a single death in the squad on a metro server- It's not easy, but it's nowhere near unbelievable.

Lol their are hackers and a majority of them know they won't get banned. So in rounds you can see them actually confess sometimes. Its hilarious to watch.

Sometimes it was so bad that you could put clips into a playermodel but their hitboxes were nowhere nearby so they took no damage, might as well make everyone invisible when it's like that. BC2 was pretty good most of the time, although the hitboxes still lagged behind people, just not to the extent of BF3. BC2 held up to higher pings well, as long as everyone had a stable connection - I remember playing on the OCN server back when the game came out and it was as good as playing on a UK server against EU players. BF3 on a UK server with UK/EU players still involved a lot of shooting around corners and hitboxes lagging. The issue with BC2 was people with packet loss or just unstable connections with large ping fluctuations, if you tried to shoot someone with a connection like that then good luck. BF3 feels like that even when both of you have a very low ping and a super stable connection.

Now this is something I just can't understand, how can you seriously say BFBC2's hit reg was "pretty good most of the time"? have we been playing different BFBC2's?

BFBC2 is an excellent game don't get me wrong, but the hit reg is probably one of the worst, if not the absolute worst in online gaming. BF3's hit reg on the other hand is pretty decent, yes, hitboxes still lag behind people, but that happens in most, if not all online games, overall it works pretty good, I'm happy with it, they have come a long way since BFBC2 in that department, starting with MoH 2010.

I'd agree some of the issues with BF2 were annoying though. The biggest issue they have with BF3 is they change the game balance every single patch, which causes people to complain when their favourite OP gun gets nerfed. They should have learnt from previous games too - you cant just say that because we did it before its ok.

My only gripe about the patching of BF3 is that they wait for the next expansion pack to be ready to release it, that is pretty lame IMO, I know they are trying to save money but come on...

And I'm pretty sure they'll continue supporting BF3 even after End Game gets released.

Agreed.

We don't know how expensive it is to develop an anti cheat system, they spent a buttload of money developing FB2, so I doubt they'll look into developing an anti cheat system because of this little outage.

And I disagree, PB works fairly well, in all my time playing BF, or any other online shooter, this is the 1st time I've seen this happen to Even Balance.

In all honesty I would rather have the crappy hit reg from BFBC2 than the hit box lag that is the problem with BF3. I had to stop playing because of the hitbox lag.

At least in BFBC2 my bullets actually hit a target when I was aiming at him...even if he was on the move. In BF3 I feel like 75% of my bullets arent because of the hitbox lag. I can say for a fact I landed more bullets on a target aiming mid section in BFBC2 than I ever have in BF3. I dont have crappy internet nor do I have a substandard PC.

soooo.... BF3 doesn't have laggy hitboxes. Client side hit detection doesn't cause that. What it DOES do is this:

You and your enemy round a corner and see each other. Your ping is 1, their ping is 250. You shoot first and should get the kill because your opponent maybe hasn't even seen you yet due to their latency. Unfortunately, they're still alive on their screen when they see you, and they shoot. Because they were alive on their screen and they shot you before you shot them, entirely due to their ping, the server accepts their input and they win that fight. That should never. EVER happen, under any circumstances. Both clients should send their requested and timestamped information to the server who makes a decision based on who shot first in real time, not in the client's time. That's the problem with BF3, the hit reg is otherwise as good as we've seen outside of counterstrike imo.
