Not as good. Eizo has some of the best color engines in the business, besides LaCie.
Both are much more skewed towards graphics professionals though, at more than twice the price of the Dell. But if you are a gamer and primarily use sRGB instead of wide Gamut, such monitors really are not needed as they will be to slow and colos will appear far to saturated (skin tones looking orangish) and flashy reds. Not to mention you need a 10 bit card to run them as they should be (Quadro or Firepro) and apps that are color aware.
And 95% off non professional grade apps are not color aware. So a waste of money at that level. The Dell has a passable sRGB emulator, while the HP has none. But both the Dell and HP are 8 bit FRC afaik with 12 bit LUT. So color wise, not as sophisticated as Eizo.
