What mechanical keyboard?

Hi guys!

I've decided I want to switch from my Logitech G510 to a mechanical keyboard, which I admittedly don't know much about rolleyes.gif I hope you guys can recommend me one that meets my requirements:

- Cherry MX switches.
- Programmable macro keys.
- Backlit.

Is it worth upgrading to mechanical from my G510? What are the best Cherry MX switches to use?

Thanks guys! smile.gif

EDIT: I'd also like the full size enter key.

I've considered them, but they lack the full size (UK) enter key and have no programmable keys... sadsmiley.gif

ugh, well Corsair have a new version of their mechanical keyboard coming out which is fully mechanical with macro buttons and backlighting.

I've got the k90 and i like it a lot. The backlight is insanely bright if you want it to be. It definitely took a while to get used to though, the keys are also bit more raised and farther apart then a normal keyboard I think. Also corsairs firmware is dicey, when I updated it to get the macro keys working (of which it has far more than you could ever need) it broke the functionality of the media keys and backlight and such. Thankfully there was a guide on their forums on how to fix it. So yeah, if you want mx reds then I'd get the k90, but I'd suggest holding out for the 95
