Bitfenix Prodigy Handles and Feet - Page 4

Pics are coming thumb.gif the pics I first put up are referenced designs on how I want the handles and feet to come out. They are only for reference as final design may change but not by much. Take a look at the top pic. That will be the handles (MS Paint seems to be the easiest program I can use though it isn't as effective as others) The open rectangle represents the handles in which you can grab it and carry the case. They will be able to support the full weight of the case if you need to move it around. Going to a LAN party? then it is recommended to get a strap thumb.gif The pic next to it is supposed to be the side view but don't bother with that as the final piece will be thicker and very durable. The wording will be in 3D. That is the only wording that will be available right now until everything is set for me to offer customized handles.

The bottom pic is the feet. It, like the handles will be 2 separate pieces instead of one. It will be a thick piece of casting (will act like ABS plastic which is strong and durable). The designs on it are not open but instead are 3D type of look and feel like the handles as well. What is great about these handles and feet is it will fit right into the same spots without ANY modifications in how it fits. I am waiting on more material so hopefully more pics and a Prototype will be ready by next week along with a video and a guide on how it was designed! From there I will start taking orders biggrin.gif

I hope this helps!

OK folks I am still waiting on the few supplies needed but until then, iam am getting the base mold ready. Looks like I cannot sell these items in the Marketplace being they are custom pieces. So I will need a 75 REP and Artisan status. Sigh... But I still will fulfillthe orders as soon as I am ready. Once they are proven worthy then I will go for Artisan as I have a few other ideas for the Prodigy folks biggrin.gif

Other ideas:
Mold a floor plate where the hard drives sit for a level floor
Acrylic Panels
Maybe even a Customized Rad where the Mesh panel on the top sits

Floor panel and other panels will all be discussed next week. I will be discussing floor panels, offset panel for the top for those of us that want to offset the radiator on top. Also PSU side covers as well as the motherboard panel I discussed earlier.
pretty excited to see what we can do here.

Another idea could be a replacement handle that has no handle... if that makes sense. A better way to put it would be when you remove the handles you are left with a big gap between the top and the side panel, perhaps making a version of the handles that only fill that in and not have the big handles could be useful for those who want to make their prodigy into a box tongue.gif

I actually thought of doing that but I would need one more set of handles biggrin.gif

OK now I am getting more disappointed. 5 rep were taken away from me...No reason why either :|

I spoke too soon!

Your read of the rules is correct - however, I can make some exceptions to the Artisan policies for you since you have 35 Rep, the minimum to sell in the Marketplace.

There were, however, a fair number of rep in your history which came from the same member in rapid succession (and could have potentially been flagged as abuse based on the Rep:Unique Rep ratio). I have removed these, but you still remain above the 35 Rep threshold.

As an Artisan, a $79 yearly fee would allow you a thread in the Artisan forums in which to promote your product, a profile badge under your username, and the right to promote your wares in your signature.

(We're currently out of appliques, aka the stickers - when we restock there will be announcements all over the site).

Back in business!!

And if you guys are going to give me REP< please make sure I actually earn it before you start repping each of my posts to boost me. It almost got me flagged and in trouble
