Another vote for the "wait it out for Haswell" option. I'm doing the same, and it seems to be the most cost-efficient solution.

So I guess the general consensus is that I should wait for Haswell/the i7 4770K.
I will wait.
And within this three-four month period I will try and save up 100-150 more so I can treat myself to a nice LGA 1150 motherboard once Haswell comes out.

Or I may see what comes out of the AMD camp. Who knows, maybe Steamroller will beat Intel.
