I5 3570k Requires 1.35v for 4.4ghz

Thread Starter
Alright, starting a new thread since the other died. I got my 3570k stable at 4.3ghz at 1.27v, and 4.4ghz stable at 1.354v

i5 3570k
UD3H Z77 GB Motherboard
550 Antec Basiq
680 SC +
8 GB 1600 DDR3 Kingston

Prime Crashes after a few hours at anything under 1.35v
LLC currently at HIGH, Tried Turbo, adjusted offsets, couldn't get it below 1.354v still.
Using offsets, with proper power saving options enabled ( And Disabled) Power Limits razed, XMP both disable and Enabled ( Doesn't make a difference, Enabled ATM)
PLL at 1.375 ( Very Low I know, I lowered this AFTER getting my OC stable)
Prime hits 82c max after 13 hours

Any Help would be appreciated.
Memtest Passed so its not bad ram.
Prime95 crashes after a few hours or bsods depending on the vcore ( If its slightly lower it crashes, it bsods if its at like 1.3v

It may be that your PSU is not able to keep up with that o/c.
I think it's an easy answer. You have a poor OC chip. I have a 3570k that took near 1.4v for 4500 stable. Got another and it does 4800 at 1.35

My advice would be don't chase it. Either stick with a 4400 OC, or buy another 3570k. And play the silicone lottery.

Well , remember all CPU are different , my first 3570k it need 1.345v to be stable at 4.6ghz , well I went to MC and I exchange it for other one , now this one I can get 4.7ghz stable at 1.224v ( same motherboard )

You guys think it would be wise to get the intel.tuning plan so i can return the cpu whenever iwant no questions asked? Also off topic my thermaltake psu kicked the bucket, i dont have a receipt fpr the rma, any solutions? ncix wont help. I guess i have high standards for the oc since i see people with grwat voltages everywhere. Also how com i can geg my pll so low?

Same.

The tuning plan is up to you, but I wouldn't bother with it unless you OC really high for a long period of time.

Hi,
Same MB/CPU here and same problem headscratch.gif
And I've opened a thread at almost the same time!
Here are the settings I wen through:
4.3GHz - 1.250V
4.4GHz - 1.275V
4.5GHz - 1.335V
4.6GHz - 1.415V
I find this voltage very bad but I find out that it is even worse for you.
