Will This Work - Daisy Chaining Fans

Thread Starter
I will be using 14 AP-15's and Lamptron 30W - 4 Channel and wanted to make sure this would not blow anything up in my case.

I want to daisy chain 8 fans from my 4x120 rad into one channel, daisy chain 4 fans from my 2x120 rad into another, a pump fan to another, and my rear exhaust fan to the last Lamptron channel. See artistic paint drawing below.

I just want to make sure it is kosher, thanks in advance!

Your drawing only shows one wire to each fan, it doesn't show if you want to run them in series or parallel.

Do the math. I had the same question with my Lamptron FC Touch, also 30W per channel, and GT-45s. Taking starting current into account to be on the safe side, I'm only going to be running 4 fans per channel. If Voltage x Current < 30W then you're fine.

If I were you I'd run top rad push on channel 1, top rad pull on channel 2, all four bottom rad on channel 3, and pump fan on channel 4. Then for the exhaust fan, either run it off the mobo or get a 5v or 7v adapter if you want to run it slower
