Yeah people would not been as harsh about the down grade in graphics if at least the game play was good but from what I have seen heard its anything but.

The game is okay, not the best graphics, but maybe future patches will fix this issue. I haven't finished the story, I am on and off since I keep hoping for a magical patch for better graphics. All I can say it's not as bad as the reviews make it seem be, but the graphics aren't there yet.

Actually, there was another article saying that it was Timegate who worked on it from 2010 to the end of 2012. Here:

You know what this also happened with Rebellion and Sega ruining AVP released in 2010 there was all this hype going into it since it was Rebellion who was developing the game the original AVP developers.

What a major disappointment AVP 2010 was how could rebellion who delivered this make a crappy AVP game:

I have to say, Ultimate badass mode and just played through the intro portions of the game ( I'm not wanting to play too much till my GF gets her copy to play co-op ) However, apart from the lighting and graphics I have no problems what-so-ever with AI or gameplay so far. Admittedly I'm not that far into the game but I'm really not seeing what the major issue everyone barks about. I do, on the other hand, understand that they shouldn't release crap that's worse than the demo'ed version!
