If Sega didn't like what they saw, why didn't they just postpone it? After all, it'd already been delayed for 6+ years, what's a few months more?

You're right though and sadly GBX probabally won't be held accountable for this abortion of a game. To me the simple fact that 85% of the entire campaign was done by a seperate B tier dev is outrageous but Sega obviously had to know that.
I really wouldn't care this much but the fact that it's Aliens makes it painful.
