One question, why the Intel motherboard? You can get an ASRock X79 Extreme6, which will have more features, and when you change your mind down the road you will be able to overclock.

Push/ Pull will be best with a 240mm radiator.

I like Corsair my AF120 Performance fans, they come with a voltage reducer so you don't *need* a fan controller.

As far as the motherboard. Stay with something name brand: ASUS, Gigabyte and Asrock all make great boards with feature full BIOS. Contrary to (seemingly) popular belief, you don't need the highest priced motherboard in a companies product line. Just pick the board features you want/need and go from there.
