FSB/DRAM Ratio cant get 1:1

Thread Starter
hi folks

need some help achieving a 1:1 ratio of ram to fsb on a 975xbx2 intel badaxe 2.

I've got my ram's reference freq set to 266, the mem freq to 667. I've overclocked the FSB to 333, and everything is stable.

However, my reported memory speed is 416, so i have a fsb to dram ratio of 4:5.

The intel bios doesnt let me adjust the mem speed up and down in single digits (it gives wide choices like 333,266,133, etc) so I cant get the 2 to exactly match up.

Is there any other way I can get a 1:1 speed with this board? I am probably missing something obvious ...

thanks

i posted something simular to this a few dayz ago or something,i set my dram frequency to 1:1 in bois....but Everest reads it as 6:4 & CPU-Z reads it as 2:3.
what i think it is,is when u set the dram in bois to 1:1 & NOT OC'ed,then it will read as 1:1 in Everest & CPU-Z.....but as soon as OCing comes in place then the dram frequency ajust it self to the best frequency for u....its jus what am guessing, cuz when i go back in BIOS it is still set to 1:1 so i say only a Intel Tech can answer this question.

Right there is your own answer for a 1:1 ratio.
